Some stargate atlantis fan art. This was done for the Painted Spires fan art fest over on livejournal. My prompt was "There were many ways to define a family."

So here we have the team (Ronon, Rodney, John, Teyla, and baby makes five) all together - just being happy. None of these guys have a good record with family stuff. what with estrangement and all that pesky death. (I guess Rodney has Jeannie now, but there still some issues there.)
But as a team they've built bonds with each other that are as strong as any family. Even though they are very different, they care for and are fiercely protective of each other.
